Persepsi Mahasiswa terhadap Kualitas Pelayanan Akademik dalam Penyelenggaraan UTS dan UAS Semester Ganjil

This study aims to describe students’ perceptions of the quality of academic services in the implementation of the Mid-Semester Examination (UTS) and Final Semester Examination (UAS) during the odd semester at STIT Syamsul Ma’arif Bontang. The quality of academic services is a crucial indicator in creating a conducive and professional educational environment. This research was designed using a quantitative method with a descriptive approach to illustrate the observed phenomena. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to students of the odd semester in the 2025 academic year, covering aspects such as exam information, lecturer and committee preparedness, schedule accuracy, and supporting facilities. The results show that the majority of students gave positive evaluations regarding the technical and administrative aspects of the examination implementation, although some concerns remained regarding the initial information readiness and grade transparency. These findings are expected to serve as a basis for institutional evaluation in efforts to improve the quality of academic services, particularly in the management of exam implementation.
