Peer Review Process

The peer review process at Nabawi: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Islam (NJPPI) is a critical component in ensuring the scholarly rigor and quality of the manuscripts considered for publication. When a manuscript is submitted, it is meticulously organized in strict adherence to the author guidelines stipulated by NJPPI. Subsequently, the manuscript undergoes a thorough evaluation through a "double-blind review" process, involving a minimum of two expert reviewers who assess its various facets.

In certain cases where additional insights are deemed necessary, the editor has the discretion to involve a third reviewer. This additional layer of assessment contributes to a comprehensive and well-informed decision-making process. The final determination regarding the manuscript's fate—whether it is accepted for publication, requires revision, or faces rejection—rests with the editorial board. The editorial board carefully considers the recommendations and assessments provided by the reviewers, weighing factors such as novelty, objectivity, methodology, scientific impact, conclusions, and references.

The review process, characterized by its attention to detail, ensures that each manuscript meets the high standards set by NJPPI. This commitment to rigorous evaluation plays a crucial role in maintaining the academic integrity and credibility of the journal, contributing to the dissemination of valuable and reliable research in the field of Islamic education.
