Licensing Terms
Authors who choose to publish their work in this journal – Nabawi: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Islam (NJPPI) – agree to a set of terms that prioritize their rights and the dissemination of knowledge.
- Firstly, authors retain the copyright to their work while granting the journal the right of first publication. This means that the journal has the initial privilege of publishing the work, and concurrently, the authors license the work under a Creative Commons Attribution License. This license allows others to share the work with proper acknowledgment of the authorship and the initial publication in this journal.
- Authors also have the flexibility to engage in separate contractual agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of their work. This may include activities such as posting it to an institutional repository or incorporating it into a book, with due recognition of its initial publication in this journal.
- Authors are not only permitted but encouraged to share their work online, either in institutional repositories or on their websites, both prior to and during the submission process. This proactive approach is seen as beneficial for fostering productive exchanges within the academic community and can lead to earlier and increased citation of the published work. The emphasis on the authors' rights and the encouragement of online sharing align with the journal's commitment to facilitating the broad dissemination of scholarly work and fostering a collaborative and open academic environment.
