Nabawi: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Islam (NJPPI) is a scholarly periodical that undergoes a rigorous peer-review process, wherein other experts (peer reviewers) evaluate the article's merit and credibility before it is published. This journal is dedicated to disseminating scientific articles on the study of Islamic education, covering various aspects and perspectives as well as predetermined themes. Published biannually, in August and February, NJPPI aspires to be a prominent platform for researchers to share ideas and findings in the field of Islamic education. Furthermore, it aims to serve as a significant reference in the same domain. NJPPI is committed to upholding high ethical standards in scientific publication, encompassing peer review, authorship, journal editing, and publishing. This commitment is grounded in the Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Publication Decisions
The editorial team of Nabawi: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Islam (NJPPI) holds the responsibility for determining the suitability of submitted articles for publication. Decisions are driven by the validation of the work's significance to researchers and readers. It is the responsibility of the author to submit a manuscript that is entirely free from plagiarism and academic misconduct. The editor, in turn, conducts a thorough examination of each article before its publication. This involves the initial step of checking for plagiarism against an offline database created by Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah Syamsul Ma’arif Bontang East Kalimantan, Indonesia, followed by a secondary check against various online databases.
Fair Play

Contribution to Editorial Decisions
The role of peer reviewers is to contribute to the editorial decision-making process. Through communication with the authors, the peer review not only aids editors in making decisions but also helps authors enhance the paper's overall quality.
Promptness
Reviewers chosen for a manuscript should promptly assess their qualifications to evaluate the research or notify the editors if they anticipate any challenges in providing a timely review. If a selected referee feels unqualified or foresees difficulties in prompt reviewing, they should inform the editors and withdraw from the review process.

Standards of Objectivity

Review Process
Each manuscript submitted to Nabawi: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Islam (NJPPI) undergoes an independent review conducted by a minimum of two reviewers in the form of a "double-blind review." The decision regarding publication, revision, or rejection is based on their respective reports and recommendations. DUTIES OF AUTHORS

Engaging in fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate practices and making statements of this nature is considered unethical and unacceptable.
Originality and Plagiarism
Authors are responsible for ensuring that their works are entirely original. If authors incorporate the ideas or words of others, proper citation or quotation must be employed to acknowledge the source.
Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publication
In general, an author should refrain from publishing manuscripts that essentially describe the same research in multiple journals or primary publications. Submitting the identical manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously is considered unethical publishing behavior and is not acceptable.
Acknowledgement of Sources
Authors are obligated to provide proper acknowledgment for the work of others. It is essential to cite publications that have significantly influenced the nature of the reported work.Top of Form
Authorship of the Paper
Authorship should be restricted to individuals who have made noteworthy contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported research. All those who have made substantial contributions should be recognized as co-authors. If there are individuals who have participated in specific substantive aspects of the research project, they should be acknowledged or listed as contributors. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring the inclusion of all appropriate co-authors and the exclusion of inappropriate co-authors. Additionally, the corresponding author must confirm that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the paper and have consented to its submission for publication.
Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
Authors are required to disclose any financial or other substantive conflicts of interest in their manuscript that could potentially influence the results or interpretation. The project's sources of financial support should also be disclosed.
Fundamental Errors in Published Works
If an author identifies a significant error or inaccuracy in their published work, it is their duty to promptly inform the journal editor or publisher and collaborate with the editor to retract or correct the paper.
