Penerapan Program Tahfidz dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menghafal Al Qur’an Surah An-Naba Siswa Kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Boarding School Bontang
Abstract
This study aims to determine how the Implementation of the Tahfidz Program in Improving the Ability to Memorize the Al-Qur'an Surah An-Naba of Class VII Students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Boarding School Bontang in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that this Tahfidz program was chosen because the results of this program are more in-depth in memorization. Students are able to accept this program well and are able to carry out learning well according to the memorization target with the abilities of each student. In developing this program, schools and teachers evaluate and provide motivation to students who have difficulty in the memorization process through a direct approach. The conclusion of this study is that the Tahfidz program is implemented because this program is deeper in memorization and each student has a certain target according to their respective abilities. The uniqueness (novelty) of this study lies in the application of memorization targets for the Tahfidz program for students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Bontang, which has not been the focus of much previous research. This method is proven to not only convey values theoretically, but also shape attitudes through direct experience
